A fine quality George III figured mahogany toilet mirror with bow fronted drawers and oval mirror glass c.1820. The bow fronted base with figured veneers, crossbanded edges plus ebony stringing and original ogee bracket feet below. The base containing three drawers with original axe drop brass handles and oak linings. The oval swing mirror sat in shaped supports with brass axe drop securing screws to the sides allowing the mirror angle to be adjusted. Superb quality and condition with a rich polish, excellent mirror glass. Measures 21.5" wide x 8.25" deep at the base x 30.5"... high to top of mirror. Stock number 40394.
