A George V period solid silver match box cover with white enamel top, hallmarked Birmingham 1913. The cleverly white enamel top appearing as stripes from one direction and brick design from the other. The solid silver sides with open sides to allow the match box striker to be use and the ends open for pushing the box open and accessing the matches; includes period match box and matches. Bears the makers mark for renown Birmingham silversmiths Levi & Salaman. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.75" long x 1.25" wide x 0.6" high. Stock number 37986.
