An unusual George V period solid silver cotton dispenser hallmarked London 1922. Weighted dished silver base supporting the column to hold the cotton reel. Matching securing plate to the top with threaded acorn design finial. Bears the makers initials J E , listed as makers of spool stands and ink wells. Measures 2.5" diameter at the base x 3" high.
