A Fine George III period oak & mahogany cased 8 Day longcase clock.c.1760. Made by Winstanley of Wigan. Brass & silvered dial with seconds count and date aperture to the centre. Gilt hand painted panel to the swan neck top hood. Shaped top to the case door with quarter turned mahogany columns to the sides. Mahogany cross banded throughout. Standing on bracket feet. Full working order. Superb colour and patina. Stands 88" high including brass finial to the top. Stock no.35194.
