An original George III period oak Montgomeryshire dresser and rack with superb patina c.1765. Three drawer open pot board base with reeded edge top, elbows to the corners. The original plate rack with fretted apron below a moulded cornice, original forged steel cup hooks below. The base with three drawers, and fretted apron below to match the rack. Turned column supports with open pot board below, framed and panelled to the surface. Sat on the original stiles with bracket feet to the corners. Superb original condition and colour with rich patina. Measures 59" wide x 17" deep x 75" high to top... of the rack, 31" high to base surface. Stock number 37486.
