A superb George III period oak joint stool with wonderful colour and original patina c.1760. Single piece top with moulded edge overlapping the moulded top rail and four turned legs set to the corners at a slightly splayed angle. Moulded supporting stretchers to the base and pegged joints throughout. Superb original colour and patina throughout. Presented in superb original condition, very sturdy and useable. Measures 17" wide x 10.5" deep x 20.75" high. Stock number CS279.
