George III Oak Bullock of Ellesmere Longcase Clock

A superb original George III period oak cased longcase clock with brass dial and 30 hour movement by Richard Bullock of Ellesmere, Shropshire c.1765. The superior quality solid oak case with moulded cornice to the hood and turned pilasters set either side of the glazed view window. The long slim trunk with quarter columns set either side to match the hood moulded edge door with shaped top, decorative brass hinges and matching lock escutcheon.
