A fine George III oak 8 day longcase clock with brass moon phase dial by Robert Nevison of Kendal. Architectual pediment with mahogany trim and dental moulding. Slim long door with mahogany cross banding, matching banding to the base. Engraved brass and silvered dial with painted moon phaes to the arch. 8 day movement with anchor escapement and bell striking on the hour. Made by Robert Nevison of Kendal (b 1719 d 1787 ) C.1760. Very original condition. Full working order. 12 Months guarantee. Measures 86 " high. x 22" wide at widest point. x 9.5" deep.
