A George II period oak joint stool with original colour and patina c.1740. Single piece top with moulded edge sat over a simple top rail, pegged joints to the corners supporting the turned column legs. Base stretcher to the lower half with nice ware to the top edge, original turned feet to the base. Excellent original colour and patina and presented in good condition, very sturdy and useable. Measures 20" wide x 12" deep x 21" high. Stock number CS216.
