A well made and stylish George II period low proportioned oak joint stool in superb original condition c.1740. Hand sawn single piece top with hand cut moulded edge. Moulded and carved top rails adjoining the turned legs with carved centres, railed stretchers to the base. Pegged joints throughout, very sturdy and useable, ideal as an occasional table. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 15" wide x 11.5" deep x 13" high. Stock number 39898.
