A 19th Century George I Style antique oak 'box' joint stool c.1890. Carved frieze to the front, moulded edge to the hinged lid, opening to reveal a storage compartment to the interior. Turned and carved legs supported by a base stretcher; pegged joints throughout. Original polish and iron hinges to the moulded edge top. Ideal as an occasional table. Measures 18" wide x 11.5" deep x 18" high. Stock no. 35872.
