A fine quality William IV period solid rosewood revolving stool with deep buttoned hide rise and fall seat C.1830. The turned tapering column with acanthus leaf design mount above a petal moulded circular foot with scroll feet. Brass mount with screw action rise and fall seat allowing the seat to rise by 7" the deep buttoned upholstered seat covered in a supple dark brown hide. Very sturdy and useable, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina. Measures 13.5" seat diameter x 18" high at lowest position. Stock number 36208.
