Fine Quality Victorian Enamel Dial Marine Barometer by Steward

A fine quality brass cased marine barometer with convex enamel dial by highly regarded maker Steward of London c.1885. The polished dished case with hanging loop to the top, the rapid indicating aneroid movement sat behind a convex porcelain enamel dial. Glazed view window to the front set in a polished brass bezel, reading marker knob to the centre. Bears the makers name J. H. Steward, 406 Strand, London. Fully serviced movement and presented in excellent condition with a deep shine to the case. Measures 5" diameter x 6" high including hanging loop x 2.25" deep. Stock number 38745.
