A fine quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany table top barometer with silvered dial and crescent thermometer c.1910. The solid figured mahogany case in Napoleon hat shape inlaid to the front with decorative fruitwood decoration to each side and with chequered stringing to the outer edge; small polished brass bracket feet to the base. Aneroid movement sat behind an engraved silvered scale with the original mercury action crescent shaped thermometer sat on the lower half. Glazed view window with central reading marker set in a polished brass bezel. Superb quality and condition, fully ...serviced and working. Measures 12" long x 2.75" deep x 5.25" high.
