Fine Quality Edwardian Small Proportion Yew Wood Chest on Chest
A fine quality small proportioned Edwardian yew wood chest on chest in George III style c.1910. Superbly proportioned and constructed with figured yew and crossbanding to the edge. Canted corners to the top section with moulded cornice sat above a three over four drawer formation; the lower section with complementing three over two drawer formation. Each drawer with figured book matched veneers and original brass knobs. Moulded plinth to the base with bracket feet to the corners. This chest on chests has figured veneered sides, oak drawer linings and boarded back throug...hout. Ideal for a small space or as a collector's chest. Presented in immaculate unfaded condition with a rich polish and separates into 2 for moving. Measures 23.5" wide x 13" deep x 49.75" high. Stock number 43127.
