Fine Inlaid Walnut Side Cabinet
A fine quality figured walnut and inlaid side cabinet with ormolu trim c.1875. Book matched figured timber top with kingwood banding. Decorative frieze below, inlaid with floral decoration in fruitwood. Pilasters to each side with acanthus leaf ormolu trims to the top and base of each. The glazed door with kingwood banding to match the top and ormolu trim the the glass edge. Matching banding to the sides, sat on a banded apron foot. Original velvet lined interior with walnut shelf edges. Working lock and original decorative gilt key. Superior quality, and presented in excellent condition with ...a rich colour and good polish. Measures 30.5" wide x 14" deep x 40.5" high. Stock number 37603.
