Fine George III Mahogany Stick Barometer

A fine George III period mahogany stick barometer with engraved silvered scale and thermometer C.1810. Book matched 'feathered' veneers and moulded edge to the case with architectural pediment to the top and original brass finial. Turned cistern to the base. Visible tube to the mercury action movement with engraved silvered scale to the top and vernier marker. Red alcohol thermometer set to the side of the scale, bears the makers name C. Aiano.
