A Fine Early Victorian burr walnut sewing box.c.1860. Original velvet and silk lined fitted interior, complete with all sewing fitments. The upper tray lifting out to reveal a silk lined compartment below. The top tray comprising of seven mother of pearl bobbin holders, sewing implements to the centre, fixed pin cushions, needle holders, thimbles, thread slides to the front, three miniature bobbin holders and velvet lidded compartments. Superb burr walnut domed top case with fall front bevelled edge mirror to the back. Brass fittings to the case. London made. Presented in immaculate condition.... Measures 12" x 8.75" deep x 5.75" high. Stock no.38652.
