Fine 19th Century Striking Carriage Clock in Original Case

A Fine Late 19th Century gilt brass striking carriage clock in the original case.c.1890. Gilt masked dial, set with diamonds around the porcelain dials. 8 Day French movement, striking on a gong to the hour and half. Repeater to the top. Gilt filigree to the serpentine shaped case. Bevelled glass panels to each side. Shaped carry handle to the top. Comes complete with the original leather & velvet lined case, original key sat in the base. Full working order. Measures 3.5" x 3"deep x 5"high(6.5" high including handle up). Stock no.35498.
