A fine quality George V period solid silver engine turned finish photo frame with flower head mounts to the corners, hallmarked Birmingham 1929. The solid silver front surround with moulded outer boarder adjoined by stylised flower head panels to each corner, honeycomb design engine turned finish to the surface. The silver face returning around the sides to meet the solid oak back with sturdy easel stand, can be displayed in portrait or landscape positions. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Henry Matthews along with clear hallmarks. Presented in excellent condition... with a deep shine. Takes photograph 3" x 4.75".
