A quality Edwardian period solid silver stamp and sovereign case, hallmarked London 1908. Oblong form with rounded corners for comfort in the pocket. Ring hanging loop to the top with button release to open. Spring opening to reveal a a gilt lined interior with engine turned finish to the sovereign retaining disc and compartment in the lid to hold stamps. Hallmarked to all sections and bears the makers mark for John Hawley & Son. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 2" high including hanging loop x 1" wide x 0.5" deep.
