An Edwardian heavy quality solid silver hinged top tea caddy in mint condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Oval form with panels below the waist line and a stepped top with hinged lid. The lid rising to a peak with a central turned ebony finial to aid opening. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths William Aitken along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Weighing 5 troy oz and presented in immaculate condition. Measures 4" wide x 3" deep x 4" high. Stock number 43185.
