Edwardian Period Butterfly Inlaid Mantel Clock

An Edwardian period mahogany mantel clock with inlaid butterfly and original gilded hands c.1900. The fine quality inlaid mahogany case with butterfly inlaid to the lower half and fruitwood strung edges. Convex porcelain dial with Roman numerals and original gilded decorative hands, sat behind a bevelled edge convex glass set in a polished brass bezel. 8 day French movement with platform escapement, fully overhauled and working. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 5" wide x 3.5" deep x 9.5" high. Stock number 38413.
