An Edwardian period solid oak sectional bookcase by Globe Wernicke with original leaded glass doors c.1910. Moulded edge to the top forming a cornice to the front. Five sections below, each with leaded glass up and over doors; each opening to reveal a green patinated painted interior. Sat on a moulded edge plinth foot. Each section with original makers label and copper finished knob, separates into sections for ease of moving or removal of a section if desired. Superior quality model by the original maker, presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 71.5" high x 34" wide x 1...1.5" deep. Internal height 10". Stock number 37759.
