Early Victorian Timber Gilt Mirror
An early Victorian timber gilt framed mirror with original glass and gilt finish C.1840. The swept sides with superb carved timber scroll work decoration to all four sides forming a pediment to the top and base, the inner frame with lightly domed surface. Original patinated mercury floated mirror glass with bevelled edge. Excellent original parcel gilt finish, no breaks or repairs. Measures 25" wide x 34" high x 1.25" deep. Stock number 35659.
