Early Victorian Rosewood Stick Barometer

A fine quality early Victorian slim proportioned rosewood stick barometer C1860. Solid timber slim case with decorative cistern cover to the base, visible tube to the fully restored mercury action movement with bone scale to the shaped top to match the bone inlay on the cistern cover. Brass sliding vernier marker and matching clasps holding the tube, brass shield to the top of the tube. Bears the makers mark to the scale for Cameron, London St, Glasgow. Full working order, superb condition with a deep shine. Measures 35" long x 2" wide x 1.25" maximum depth.
