A top quality Edwardian mahogany cased barograph thermograph by highly regarded maker Dollond of London, fully serviced and working c.1910. The polished mahogany case with fruitwood strung edges to the frame of the glazed top section, ogee moulding to the waist, with a chart drawer to the base, which is also strung with fruitwood; small feet below. Quarter plate bevelled edge glass with hole to the centre of one side to keep the internal temperature the same as the room. Polished brass base plate and frame to the moment, which has an 8 day duration. Twin needles, one to record air pres...sure and the other to record temperature, both marking in different colour inks on the chart; twin ink bottles for the different colour inks. Bears the makers name Dollond, London (highly regarded makers and opticians to William IV and Queen Victoria). Presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working with a supply of ink and charts ready for use. Measures 14.25" wide x 8.75" deep x 8.5" high. Stock number 41417.
