A superb Edwardian period leather cartridge magazine with original fitted interior C1900. Outstanding leather bound exterior with original snap opening catch and lock. Leather securing straps with brass buckles secured by brass reinforced leather straps. Cast brass riveted on corner reinforcements. And boss to the centre of the lid. Stitched carry handle. Opens to reveal an original a fitted interior with leather divisions and straps to aid removal of cartridges. Original felt lined lid with makers label for John Dickson & Son, 63 Princess St, Edinburgh (trading at this address until 1928 & su...ppliers to Lord Byron) Superb condition with excellent original patina.
