A 1930's Geographica 8" paper mache globe with brass axis and turned ebonised timber foot in excellent original condition. The 8" paper mache globe in excellent clear condition and with makers label for Geographia, Fleet Street, London located on the globe. The globe revolving in a nickel plated brass axis, which is mounted on a turned urn shaped timber column with wide turned foot to the base in the original ebonised finish. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich patina throughout. Measures 8" globe diameter x 9" maximum width with axis x 6.25" diam...eter at the base x 14" high. Stock number 42250.
