A fine quality and difficult to find immaculate 18ct solid gold hunter pocket watch by Benson with 17 jewel movement, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. The solid polished 18ct gold case made by highly regarded case maker Aaron Lufkin Dennison, all parts including the winding crown hallmarked with matching dates. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds count and original blued steel hands in immaculate condition. The 17 jewel movement with cylinder escapement and in full working order, bears the makers name Benson, Ludgate Hill, London. The case excluding the works weighing in at... 62g (£2287 gold value at time of writing), sat in the original leather cloth presentation case with velvet and silk lined interior. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 2" diameter x 2.75" high including hanging loop x 0.45" deep. Stock number CS162.
