12 troy oz Chester Silver Tankard
A fine quality Chester silver tankard with ring turned design decoration weighing over 12 troy oz, hallmarked Chester 1946. Formed in thick gauge silver, slightly tapering in form with rim to the top and to the base. Two bands of ring turned decoration to the tankard, with an angular cast silver handle set to the side. Bears the makers mark for Chester silversmith Stokes & Ireland Ltd along with clear hallmarks and Manchester retailers mark to the base. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine.
